In addition to expanding clinical services, Ado Fertility Center is strengthening its commitment to professional education and capacity building in reproductive medicine. Recognizing the growing need for skilled specialists in fertility care, the Center has introduced structured training and professional development programs aimed at healthcare providers. Building the Next Generation of Specialists The initiative focuses on: CPD-accredited training programs in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Short-term clinical attachments for hands-on learning Specialized training in Embryology and IVF laboratory practices Research and continuous professional development opportunities These programs are designed to enhance local expertise and help address the shortage of trained fertility professionals in Ethiopia. Collaborative Learning Approach The Center is working in collaboration with national health stakeholders and international academic partners to ensure that training meets global best-practice standards. Ado Brief Info

ADO FERTILITY CENTER Addis Ababa is a newly established fertility center located in Yeka Subcity, Addis Abeba. The center was established in February 2026 by Dr. Samson Mulugeta, founder of Ado MCH, Fertility, CPD and Short-Term Training Center, based in Mekelle, Tigray.


The center was founded in collaboration with three of Ethiopia’s most experienced embryology professionals:

  • Dr. Mandefro Delelegne
  • Dr. Eyasu Mekonen
  • Mr. Tenaw Sisay

The establishment of Ado Fertility Center aims to address the significant unmet need for infertility evaluation and management in Ethiopia by expanding access to modern reproductive care.
